Historic Hampshire Country House

Posted by: ppadmin

A Grade II* Listed house, which in parts dates back to the 16th Century and the dissolution of the monasteries. The house suffered a devastating fire, where significant areas of the house were destroyed.

Property Pathfinder were appointed the lead consultant in the repair of this historic building.

Property Pathfinder were also instructed to negotiate the insurance settlement, and lead successful negotiations with English Heritage.

The extent of the fire allowed for the opportunity for the house to be re organised and connected meaningfully into its service range for the first time. This allowed the creation a spectacular full height kitchen converted from an adjoining barn.

On completion the conservation officer praised the high-quality work of the team.
